Exploring Life Behind Bars

While I was incarcerated, I kept a clandestine and contemporaneous a diary of the things I saw and experienced in prison. I didn't pull any punches, but I changed the names of the people and places I wrote about.

Over the years I mailed my manuscripts to a friend or two on the street which they preserved and returned to me when I got out. Now I am posting my writing here as a blog.  It's somewhat out of order, but I've titled each entry with the date it was written.
